Ann-Margret Ann-Margret Olsson was born in Sweden but immigrated to the U. S. when she was very young. Her famous romance with Elvis Presley notwithstanding, she is an extraordinarily talented actress, having received two Oscar nominations (for "Carnal Knowledge" and "Tommy"). In 1972 a devastating accident in Vegas almost ended her career, but she came back like a champ.
